n the middle of the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, On the Other Side tells the story of two young soldiers, David and Jad, who meet in unexpected circumstances on the border. What begins as one rescuing the other slowly turns into something neither of them expected.

Both are looking for a way out of the noise, the pressure, and the life they’ve been given. They make a bold decision to leave and spend time in Paris. Away from uniforms and expectations, their connection grows into something deeper—something they don’t fully understand, especially as both have always seen themselves as straight.

But reality doesn’t stay far for long. David finds himself pulled between his marriage, his family, and feelings he can no longer ignore. His father strongly rejects any connection with someone from the other side, and the weight of it all begins to build.

On the Other Side is a story about love where it isn’t supposed to exist, about identity, and about two people trying to hold on to something real in a world that keeps pulling them apart.
