Would you like to learn Amateur Radio and Electronics? It could open up a whole world of possibilities! You could study via the Internet at your own pace and get your Amateur Radio Licence.
For many, this can be the start of a great hobby and/or career in electronics and communications.
These courses are for anyone wanting to obtain an Amateur Radio license and learn about Radio, Electronics, and Communications. The courses are not designed to be a supplement to tertiary courses being offered by TAFE colleges or Universities.
Although the material is designed for Australian examinations, there is no reason why it could not be used for exam preparation in other countries as well. Further, the material is free for non-commercial use. A number of commercial organizations use these courses with permission.
ARE THE COURSES FORMALLY RECOGNISED?:
Yes! The course material is designed to cater to the beginner and ends with either the Australian Novice Amateur Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (NAOCP), or, the Unrestricted Amateur Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (AOCP).
There is a mechanism in place whereby students who have successfully completed one of these courses can attain (if they so choose) Certificates of Electro-technology.
