Spiderman Trailer - World Trade Center Version

The original Spiderman movie we all know and love is not "the original".

The real original was shot, edited, and "in the can" on that fateful day of September 11, 2001. It featured the World Trade Center heavily as the setting for many scenes, including an exciting battle climax.

For obvious reasons it could not in good taste be released as planned. It was then largely re-shot to eliminate the World Trade Center entirely from the film.

I obtained this trailer from the file sharing services of the day in 2002, coincidentally right about the time that the original film had been due to be released.

Somewhere, somehow, someone must be sitting on a carefully preserved copy of the aborted release. Perhaps some day we will have healed enough,...
